On October 16, 2020 Kunming Region construction engineering Steel structure non-destructive testing vocational skills competition was held in Kunming. Deputy General manager Wan Haitao led the team to participate in the competition and escort the smooth conduct of the competition.

The competition was sponsored by Kunming Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and hosted by Yunnan Engineering Testing Association. Nearly 100 players from more than 40 units in Kunming participated in the competition. The competition is divided into two parts: theoretical examination and practical examination. As the sponsor of the competition, our company provides standard test blocks and test samples for practical examination.

The samples used for competition examination are usually divided into plate welding test blocks, tube welding test blocks, tube plate welding test blocks, covering different types of defects such as pores, cracks, slag inclusion, non-fusion, and non-penetration. The test sample has detailed and clear requirements for the position height and size of the defect, and the accuracy of the defect is related to the fairness of the exam, so the production and processing of the welding plate for the exam must be extra precise.
