On May 13, the first Steel Standards and Testing Technology Development Forum was held in Wuhan. Chairman, General manager Wei Zhongrui, marketing manager Meng Fanbao, business manager Zhang Aozhe attended the forum. Nearly 500 representatives from relevant standardization technical committees and sub-committees, as well as enterprises, quality inspection institutions, scientific research institutes, universities, equipment and instrument test block manufacturers in iron and steel, nonferrous metals, machinery, ships, electric power, petrochemical, construction and other industries participated in the meeting to witness the convening of the forum.

This forum aims to publicize and promote the latest testing standards and cutting-edge testing technologies, discuss the collaborative development of testing technology and standards during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, strengthen the leading role of standards, and further promote the sustainable and high-quality development of China's steel industry.

In recent years, the proportion of test blocks in the metallurgical industry is also rising year by year, steel plate inspection line needs to make calibration samples, the largest sample size processed by our company is 12000mm*4000mm*30mm, the maximum diameter of automatic detection sample rod processed by the bar factory is 300mm*6000mm, and the maximum size of water immersion test sample rod is φ600mm. The difficulty of the design of the test block is increasing year by year, and the investment of the company in technology and scientific research is also increasing year by year, and the force is increasing to meet the development needs of the industry, which can better serve the non-destructive testing industry.
